I was selected out of over 200 students and given the chance to exhibit my work as a featured on line designer at New Designers part 2, Islington, London.
I was shortlisted for a UHI Innovative business idea award for `The Discovery Box`.
Shetland Arts award for nominated pieces in the Fresh exhibition.
PUBLICATIONS
My work at New Designers was reviewed in Blue Print magazine.
My latest exhibition was reviewed in The Shetland Times.
I will have a six-page article in a book published in April 2008 in Chinese and English called 100 Great Design Ideas by Cynthia Tseng.
Current project work
I am currently working on two new projects
Baltasound hotel - Art textile hangings and paintings for the hotel rooms that will be for sale and take their inspiration from Shetland.
Textiles in the garden - woven wire sculptures for the garden.
