I live and work in Lerwick and my windows overlook the pier. This is my favourite place to sit with my morning coffee! The ever changing view inspired a collection of on going work that involves drawings of old fishing boats. I have researched their history and combined it with drawings from my window and of the sea in all its various moods. I then transfer simplified imagery to silk screens which I print onto recycled sailcloth using a mixture of fabric dyes and textile printing inks
